BAPM NEWTT study
23 March 2021
The British Association of Perinatal Medicine (BAPM) is revising the Newborn Early Warning Trigger and Track (NEWTT) chart.
The NEWTT tool seeks to identify those babies at risk of clinical deterioration following birth and provide a standardised observation for monitoring clinical progress. It should reduce the total number of admissions to neonatal units as well as reduce the severity of illness for the infants that do need to be admitted.
The following survey asks you to give us your views on what should or should not be included in this chart. It should take approximately 15 minutes to complete with a deadline of 30th March. Thank you for taking time to give us your opinion.
