The Pregnancy Loss Research Network are recruiting participants for ‘The SunFLowEr Project’

The Pregnancy Loss Research Network based at the University of Bedfordshire are recruiting participants for ‘The SunFLowEr Project’. Through this project they are exploring support and care experiences for people who experience first trimester pregnancy loss in England to collectively identify policy-driven solutions to improve psychological outcomes. Importantly, their inclusive scheme of work captures the views of people who have experienced loss, their partners and those providing their care (please see their website for further details The SunFLowEr Project | University of Bedfordshire (beds.ac.uk)
They are currently recruiting healthcare professionals who provide care and/or support to individuals experiencing first trimester pregnancy loss to take part in an interview. This will explore their role and practices in supporting people who experience early pregnancy loss and the barriers and enablers that impact the quality of care and emotional support provided. They seek to recruit include a wide range of participants, including midwifes, nurses, obstetricians/gynaecologists, Registrars, GPs, accident and emergency staff, sonographers, individuals working within chaplaincy and pastoral care, support services, community and voluntary sector.
