We are delighted to share the programme for the BMFMS Annual Conference 2026, taking place on 26 and 27 March at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds. This year’s agenda brings together leading experts, new voices and fresh perspectives across maternal and fetal medicine, showcasing the breadth of innovation and excellence within our community.

1. Creating a Culture of Psychological Safety: Supporting Our Clinical Practitioners
Join us in exploring how we can foster true psychological safety in clinical settings—ensuring every practitioner feels heard, supported, and empowered. Led by Professor James Walker, with an RCOG perspective delivered by Dr Alison Wright, and an RCM perspective by Gill Walton CBE, the conference provides a safe space for open, honest discussions about the realities of care delivery and how we can better look after those who look after others.

2. QI for Inclusion: Trailblazing Change in Clinical Practice
